Checking what you downloaded
Every release publishes a SHA256SUMSfile listing the SHA-256 of each installer. The hashes are taken from the finished, signed files and the release fails if any of them does not match, so the number under a button above is the number you should get for that file.

- Windows, in PowerShell
Get-FileHash .\Moodis_0.8.11_x64_en-US.msiCompare the Hash column with the number under the Windows button. PowerShell prints it in upper case; only the letters differ.
- Linux, in a terminal
sha256sum --ignore-missing -c SHA256SUMSRun it in the folder holding both SHA256SUMS and Moodis_0.8.11_amd64.AppImage. --ignore-missing skips the lines for the other platforms' installers, so it reports OK on the one file you have rather than failing on the ones you do not.
A match means your copy is identical to the one this list describes, which is what catches a truncated download, a corrupted file or a mirror serving something older. It is not by itself proof of who made the file: this list is served from the same place as the installer. On Windows, that is the Authenticode signature: Windows names the publisher before the installer runs.

What we package
Moodis ships two desktop builds: an x86_64 MSI for Windows and a single x86_64 AppImage for Linux. The AppImage runs on any modern 64-bit distribution without installing anything.
We do not publish .deb,.rpm, Flatpak, Snap or Arch packages, and there is no ARM or aarch64 build. One Linux artifact is one artifact we can sign, test and auto-update on every release; a spread of distro packages we cannot test is worse for you than a format we can stand behind. If you need Moodis in your distro's package manager, say so atsupport@moodis.app. Demand is how this list changes.
Pro’s web app runs in any browser, including on Mac.
