You pay €35 once. Sync, backup, 9 GB of cloud storage, the web app and every update come with it for as long as Moodis runs. There is no renewal and no second charge. If Moodis ever closes, the desktop app keeps working and your boards stay on your own disk; the cloud copy is the part that goes.

Every account starts with a 14-day free trial of cloud sync and sharing, with no card needed, so you can try Moodis before paying. Once you pay, cancel within 14 days of your first payment, or of a renewal payment, for a full refund of that payment: use Cancel & refund in your account settings on the web app. Your access ends when you do. After 14 days, payments aren't refunded, but you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. EU consumers also keep their statutory withdrawal rights. Your local boards are always yours: they stay on your computer, and the desktop app keeps opening them whatever you pay. What stops is syncing and share links. Cloud-synced boards remain accessible in read-only mode for 90 days after cancellation, giving you time to export everything. The account is scheduled for deletion at that point, taken out of service 30 days later, and the cloud copy is permanently erased 90 days after scheduling. If you also hold the Solo licence, cancelling Pro drops you to Solo and its 9 GB instead: sync keeps working, and nothing is deleted even if you are above that figure, though new uploads wait until you are back under it.

Yes, on Pro and Team, for boards that sync to the cloud, and not on Free or Solo on its own. At most once a day, and only if the board changed since the last one, Moodis saves a dated copy of it. Pro keeps those copies for 30 days and Team for 365 days. Backup and version history are two different things here, and both are real: Solo, Pro and Team all keep a cloud copy of your boards as they are now, which is the backup, and Pro and Team add this dated history on top of it. Putting one back creates a new board and leaves the original where it is, so nothing is overwritten, and you do it from the web app. The desktop app lists a board’s versions without restoring them, because a restore made there could be undone by the next sync. Copies start as soon as a board syncs, during a trial as well, free or paid, so you can watch it working before you pay. One limit worth knowing before you rely on it: a board that stays on your own disk has no history, because there is nothing in the cloud to keep.

Yes, at any time: subscribe to Pro and it runs alongside your Solo licence, taking you to 99 GB with sharing and collaborative editing. Nothing is lost if you later cancel Pro, because the Solo licence underneath stays valid and the account falls back to 9 GB rather than to the free tier. We do not credit the €35 against a subscription.

No. The free version is licensed for personal, non-commercial use. For client work, freelancing or any commercial purpose on your own, the Solo licence covers one person for a single payment of €35. Pro and Team add sharing, collaborative editing and team boards, which Solo does not include.

The Team plan includes 3 users and 999 GB of cloud storage in the base price. Teams can grow to 500 users: each user beyond the first three is €10/user/mo, or €100/user/yr on annual billing.
